Lead Applications Developer

We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead the development and management of our applications.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced individual to drive the design, development, and maintenance of Web, Cloud, and Enterprise applications. As the Head of Applications, you will be responsible for leading and managing the development team, driving technical excellence, and ensuring the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance application solutions that meet business goals and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development team in designing, developing, and maintaining Web, Cloud, and Enterprise applications.
  • Drive technical excellence by providing hands-on development guidance and mentoring team members to enhance their technical skills.
  • Develop and implement digital transformation initiatives by integrating modern application technologies and best practices into the organization.
  • Oversee the full application lifecycle, including requirements gathering, development, deployment, and ongoing support.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to align application strategies with organizational objectives.
  • Champion Agile methodologies and DevOps practices to enhance team productivity and streamline project delivery.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in application development and management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in Web, Cloud, and Enterprise Application Development with hands-on experience in modern programming languages and frameworks.
  • Strong technical background as a developer, capable of providing guidance and support to the development team.
  • Proven experience in leading large-scale application projects, including system integrations, migrations, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Agile, DevOps practices, and other modern development methodologies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to inspire teams and engage stakeholders effectively.
