Job Title: Billing Business Analyst

As a key member of the Billing Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate client month-end billing and streamlining operations.

This role involves handling client month-end billing tasks, serving as a liaison between Product Management, Engineering, and the Billing Operations team, and identifying opportunities to automate and improve manual processes.

You will be responsible for supporting month-end settlement processing by preparing, validating, and analyzing data to ensure timely and accurate results.

Additionally, you will elicit, capture, and document business and functional requirements to enable manual billing tasks to be converted to automated tasks.

Key responsibilities include completing billing set-up of new clients based on specified terms detailed in signed contracts, preparing journal entries and monthly reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts, and assisting with quarterly and annual audit requests as needed.

Required skills and qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, 2+ years of experience in business analysis or a related field, and strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, NetSuite accounting system, SQL, and data visualization tools.

A strong ability to work with large amounts of information, clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, and strong relationship-building and influencing skills are also essential.
