Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Customs Clearance, Procurement, and Regulatory Affairs activities to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
  • Coordinate with the Sales Team to achieve efficiency across functions.
Regulatory Compliance
  • Handle application, monitoring, and renewal of product-related permits from government agencies.
  • Manage procurement, regulatory, and importation documents.
  • Assist the Sales team with new product compliance requirements, including testing.
Supply Chain Management
  • Request quotations from suppliers for administrative requirements.
  • Create Purchase Orders in SAP for services, saleable, and consumable materials.
  • Liaise with Principals and Omya Group regarding shipment details, payments, and bookings.
  • Submit shipping documents to brokers for on-time release of shipments.
  • Monitor open orders and incoming shipments.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of SAP data.
  • Maintain a repository of supplier contracts and quotes.
  • Perform goods receipt for services and consumable materials.
  • Handle month-end report gathering and consolidation.
  • Negotiate prices without compromising quality.
Financial Management
  • Clear Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt items older than 90 days.
  • Ensure vendor tax compliance and forward hard copies to the office.
  • Monitor and ensure timely billing of brokers and trucking companies.
  • Properly account for BOC duties and taxes debited to our account.
  • Ensure Principals submit trade invoices and credit memos to Esker on time.
  • Handle 2nd level escalation for container deposits.
  • Approve invoices sent to the Procurement and Trade-related basket promptly.
  • Saves Internal Control System documentation promptly.
  • Provide audit support during financial statement or tax audits.
Qualifications
  • University Degree in Customs Administration, Industrial Engineering, Accounting, or business-related courses.
  • At least 2 years experience in Procurement and Import/Export Processes, Tariff, and Custom Codes. Regulatory Affairs experience is an advantage.
  • Competent, driven, self-motivated, analytical, and has a desire for excellence.
  • Excellent command of English Language.
