JOB/ROLE PURPOSE:

The Spare Parts Import and Export Specialist is responsible for overseeing and administering the import and export of spare parts. This includes ensuring compliance with the regulatory on importation and exportation, preparing necessary documentation, and coordinating with suppliers, customers, and logistics providers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Shipments Facilitation

a. Carries out import and export process by coordinating with shipping firms, customs brokers, and warehousing.

b. Monitors and checks shipping reference as well as ETA/ETD.

c. Oversees shipment at Customs and supply any additional requirements if necessary.

d. Monitors and oversees the shipment's release and delivery.

e. Processes of shipment billing through E-finance

  1. Compliance and Documentation

a. Prepares and process the required documents by the forwarder prior to arrival of shipment.

  • Government Permit and Exemption Application

b. Administers files and records for shipments.

c. Prepares manual invoice and packing list for filing of export entry.

  1. Cost Management

a. Calculates and process duties, taxes, and charges related to imports and exports including tariff use per item.

b. Procures spare parts from suppliers in a timely and cost-effective manner.

  1. Customer Service

a. Ensures timely and accurate delivery of spare parts (inbound and outbound).

b. Address any issues and or discrepancies promptly. Work hand in hand with the customer service group to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required:


• Bachelor's degree in Customs Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field


• Proven experience in import/export operations


• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, tariffs, and shipping procedures


• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills


• Strong interpersonal skills; able to collaborate across all levels


• Familiarity with import/export software and systems

Preferred:

· Minimum of 1–2 years in import/export operations and experience in customs compliance, freight forwarding, and international shipping procedures.
