Government Contracting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Government Contracting Specialist to lead and manage the procurement process for U.S. government contracts, specializing in service apartment rentals or pest control services.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in growing our government contract portfolio by analyzing solicitations (RFPs, RFQs, ITBs), preparing competitive bids and proposals, conducting cost estimation and pricing analysis, and collaborating with internal teams to gather input and create accurate proposals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze government solicitations to identify opportunities aligned with company offerings in service apartment rentals or pest control services.
  • Prepare, review, and submit competitive bids and proposals, ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and other U.S. government procurement requirements.
  • Conduct cost estimation, pricing analysis, and risk assessment to develop effective bidding strategies.
  • Liaise with government agencies and contracting officers to clarify requirements and strengthen business relationships.
  • Track bid status, conduct post-bid evaluations, and implement lessons learned to improve future outcomes.
Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in bidding for U.S. government contracts, with a focus on service apartment rentals or pest control.
  • Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and government procurement processes.
  • Expertise in preparing and submitting compliant bids, including experience with pricing models and cost estimation.
  • Proficiency in bid management software and tools such as MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience working with federal agencies or government contract platforms.
  • Knowledge of specific industry requirements for service apartment rentals or pest control.
  • Certifications such as Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP).
