Job Title: Senior Sql Database Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced database administrator to join our team.

Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining databases that meet the business needs of our organization. They will work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration of databases with application systems.

  • Design, implement, and maintain databases using Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Develop and implement data security policies and procedures to protect sensitive information.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure database applications are optimized and perform well.
  • Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity.
  • Develop and maintain reports to analyze database performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database administration.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior database administrators.

Requirements:

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a database administrator with implementations, upgrades, migrations, conversions, and consolidation projects with Microsoft SQL Server databases.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server Database ranging from SQL 2005 to SQL 2022 on Windows platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving and performance tuning skills.
  • Ability to follow direction and take ownership of any allocated projects/changes/incidents/problems.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make quick and accurate decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
