Medical Content Writer

As a Medical Content Writer, you will play a crucial role in developing and creating high-quality medical content for various audiences.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of experts and contribute to the creation of accurate and engaging medical communications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science or healthcare and excellent writing skills. They will be responsible for translating complex medical concepts into clear and concise language, creating engaging content for branded campaigns, patient education materials, and medical slide decks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and create high-quality medical content for various audiences
  • Translate complex medical concepts into clear and concise language
  • Create engaging content for branded campaigns, patient education materials, and medical slide decks
  • Partner with design, strategy, account managers, and project management teams
  • Ensure all content is on-brand and compliant with regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Preferably with a Bachelor's Degree or PhD in any science or medical field
  • At least 2 to 5 years of medical writing experience, including creating medical or scientific content for clinical trials, doctors, healthcare, and the public
  • Experience in pharma agency work is a great advantage
  • Knowledge of Medicines Australia Code of Conduct (preferred but not required; can be trained)
  • Knowledge of using Veeva/PromoMats (preferred but not required; can be trained)
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to ensure all content is on-brand and compliant
  • Proven ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
