Job Title: Global Payroll Operations Leader

Job Description

Critical Role: As a Global Payroll Operations Leader, you will oversee critical payroll operations while managing client billing processes across multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities: Lead payroll processing across AU, US, and other global jurisdictions; oversee client invoicing, revenue recognition, and billing reconciliations; ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and international laws for payroll and billing operations; manage employee queries; reconcile payroll and billing with general ledger, taxes, and benefits contributions; oversee payroll and billing systems, integrations, and process improvements; collaborate with Finance, HR, and Operations to align payroll and billing with accounting and business needs; prepare payroll and billing reports for leadership, audits, and compliance reviews.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of payroll and/or billing experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead role.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of PH and AU billing regulations, tax, and compliance requirements; familiarity with payroll and billing systems (ADP, Gusto, Xero, NetSuite, Deel, or similar); strong reconciliation, reporting, and revenue recognition skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
