Business Analyst - Process Optimization Specialist

The Process Analytics Engineer will play a pivotal role in the Enterprise Projects team, contributing to process mining and operational analytics initiatives. This position focuses on preparing and transforming operational data for use in process analytics, developing process mining models, and delivering actionable insights through dashboards and automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Celonis or comparable tools, and a strong foundation in data engineering and Power Platform technologies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating process mining platforms (e.g., Celonis, ARIS) to identify optimal solutions.
  • Designing and implementing process mining models using Celonis or similar tools.
  • Collaborating with business and IT teams to understand operational workflows and data sources, and translating them into event logs.
  • Building and maintaining data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce).
  • Developing Power BI dashboards to visualize process performance, KPIs, and automation opportunities.
  • Leveraging Power Automate and Power Apps to streamline workflows and integrate analytics into business processes.
  • Conducting root cause analysis and identifying process inefficiencies, compliance gaps, and automation opportunities.
Requirements
  • 5–7 years of experience in process mining using Celonis or similar platforms.
  • Strong background in data engineering, including SQL, ETL, and data modeling.
  • Experience preparing event logs and operational datasets for analytics.
  • Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard development and data visualization.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
  • Ability to work independently in a remote/offshore environment and collaborate across global teams.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Ability to ensure data quality, governance, and documentation across analytics initiatives.
Education
  • BS in Computer Science, Information Technology degree, Data Analytics or equivalent
