Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Center Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC and cooling systems within data centers.

You will perform routine maintenance, calibrations, and repairs on HVAC systems, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues, and resolve them quickly to minimize downtime.

Additionally, you will monitor system performance, analyze data for inefficiencies, and implement corrective measures to enhance energy efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain optimal thermal conditions.

You will also recommend energy-saving measures and system upgrades, work with clients to reduce consumption and improve overall system performance, and align with sustainability goals.

Your role will involve maintaining accurate service records, ensuring all work complies with safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines, and providing clients with clear reports on system status and recommended actions.

You will build and maintain client relationships by providing expert advice on system optimization, cooling loads, and thermal management to ensure peak operational performance.

Finally, you will ensure all service work adheres to safety standards, regulations, and best practices, creating a safe work environment at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in HVAC and cooling systems
  • Good customer service skills
  • Knowledge in field servicing of thermal products like CRAC, HVAC, AHU, and chiller systems
  • Experience in critical infrastructure is desirable
  • Customer-centric with high-level commitment to meet and exceed customer satisfaction and demands
  • Good written, oral communication, and presentation skills, with experience working with people across different cultures and backgrounds
  • Good relationship building and management skills with the ability to foster long-term relationships (with internal teams, external partners)
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently; good team player
  • Action- and results-oriented with a passion for success
  • Aggressive in planning for and achieving targets
  • Good time management skills
