**Bookkeeping Specialist Role**

This role involves performing a variety of financial management tasks to ensure accurate and timely results. Key responsibilities include payroll processing, bank reconciliations, bill payments, sales invoicing, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll, including timesheets, superannuation, and compliance with tax laws.
  • Handle balance sheet and bank account reconciliations.
  • Prepare reports on payables and receivables.
  • Manage sales invoices.
  • Track and report project progress using XERO Projects.
  • Complete preparation of business activity statements (BAS) and income tax assessments (IAS).
  • Prepare management reports, cash flow forecasts, and budgets.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with Australian clients in bookkeeping and accounting.
  • Proficiency in Xero and experience using digital tools like DEXT or Hubdocs.
  • Knowledge of payroll processing, reconciliations, invoicing, and BAS/IAS preparation and reporting in Xero.
  • Ability to forecast cash flows and prepare budgets.
