We're seeking a seasoned Senior Data Engineer to join our global team and drive impactful projects from the ground up.

Job Description

In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in designing, building, and maintaining robust systems and infrastructure for processing and analyzing large and complex datasets.

  • Create high-performance data pipelines capable of handling large volumes of data in both real-time market data and batch formats.
  • Develop scalable data warehousing solutions using Snowflake and cloud-based platforms like AWS or GCP.
  • Lead efforts to recruit and mentor new team members in Manila, fostering a collaborative attitude and high-performing team environment.

You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and develop effective solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar field.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • Proficiency in Python with data manipulation frameworks (e.g. Pandas, Dask) and SQL; knowledge of other languages is advantageous.
  • Experience with REST APIs, AWS, Snowflake, Kubernetes, and Airflow.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to interact with both business and technical teams.
