We are seeking a visionary Data Quality & Engineering Lead to spearhead our AI data quality initiatives. This role demands exceptional leadership and technical expertise, as you will be responsible for architecting and implementing high-quality annotation workflows to ensure the integrity of AI models.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data annotation processes, quality assurance methodologies, and statistical quality metrics. Strong analytical skills, with experience in interrogating large datasets, performing statistical analyses, and translating findings into actionable recommendations, are essential.

As a leader, you will drive the development, refinement, and documentation of quality assurance processes and standard operating procedures to ensure high-quality outputs. You will also establish comprehensive quality metrics that align with business objectives and industry standards.

Job Description

This role involves leading a team of Data Quality Analysts, providing mentorship, training, and expertise to foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. You will manage the configuration and integration of annotation and quality control tools to ensure optimal tool performance and alignment with project requirements.

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years of experience in data quality management, data operations, or related roles within AI/ML or data annotation environments
  • Proven track record in designing and executing quality assurance strategies for large-scale, multi-modal data annotation projects
  • Strong data-analysis skills, with the ability to interrogate large datasets, perform statistical analyses, and translate findings into actionable recommendations
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Deep understanding of data annotation processes, quality assurance methodologies, and statistical quality metrics
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in interrogating large datasets, performing statistical analyses, and translating findings into actionable recommendations
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting complex data and quality insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency with annotation and QA tools, such as Labelbox, Dataloop, and LabelStudio
  • Familiarity with programmatic data analysis techniques, including Python and SQL
