About the Role

We are seeking an experienced tax professional to join our team. Our mission is to simplify back-office processes for micro SMEs and enable entrepreneurs to focus on growing their business and serving customers.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare and file tax obligations for clients in Australia, including companies, individuals, and trusts.
  • Guide clients through their accounting journey and engage with them during tax return preparation.
Key Accountabilities
  • Accurately prepare financial statements and tax returns for sole traders, companies, partnerships, and trusts.
  • Handle regulatory submissions such as Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), Taxable Payments Annual Report (TPAR), and other ad-hoc compliance obligations.
  • Stay updated on financial and taxation regulations to ensure compliance across accounting and taxation services.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with clients to provide updates and address queries.
  • Ensure timely lodgement of tax returns, regulatory submissions, and other compliance documents.
  • Perform other accounting and tax-related tasks as assigned, including support for audits or advisory services.
  • Utilize accounting and tax software effectively to streamline processes.
  • Maintain high attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance with Australian taxation standards.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a qualified tax accountant in Australia.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
