Loan Portfolio Assistant Role

We are seeking a skilled Loan Portfolio Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in loan administration, finance, legal services or related fields.

The role involves monitoring and managing resolved loans, ensuring all relevant processes are followed. This includes tracking loan repayments, liaising with law firms and clients, and assisting in the closure process of accounts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and escalating matters with any concerning risk factors. They will also need to interpret legal and financial documents, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Resolved Loan Monitoring: Track and manage resolved loans to ensure compliance with relevant processes.
  • Request Copy of Orders/Agreement: Follow up with legal representatives to obtain final Orders or Agreements.
  • Interpretation of Orders/Agreement Documents: Review and analyze legal documents to determine repayment obligations and financial implications.
  • Follow Up with Law Firms for Updates on Resolved Loans: Maintain regular communication with law firms to track loan resolution progress.
  • Issue Final Statement of Account: Prepare and distribute final statements to borrowers and relevant stakeholders.
  • Security Registration & Withdrawal: Assist in the registration and withdrawal of mortgages and caveats.
  • Account Closure Confirmation Processes: Send closure confirmation emails upon successful loan repayment and resolution.

Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in loan administration, finance, legal services or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of financial documents, loan agreements, and legal orders.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work proactively and follow up with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Empathy and professionalism when dealing with sensitive client matters.
  • Salesforce experience is preferred but not required.
