Financial Professional - Part Time

The role of Financial Professional at a US offshore recruitment organization involves working in a part-time capacity, with a work-from-home (WFH) arrangement. Key responsibilities include billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Billing is a critical component of this position, requiring the generation of accurate and timely customer invoices. It also involves ensuring compliance with company policies and tax regulations, as well as maintaining proper documentation of all billing records.

In addition to billing, the Financial Professional will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, credit notes, and payments. Reconciliation of vendor statements and resolving discrepancies are also essential tasks.

Accounts receivable requires monitoring customer accounts for delayed payments, preparing aging reports, and escalating overdue accounts. Debt follow-up involves contacting clients with overdue invoices via phone, email, or official letters, maintaining a log of collection activities and customer communications, and collaborating with sales or legal teams on complex or delinquent accounts.

Finally, reconciliation involves performing regular reconciliations of bank statements, ledgers, and sub-ledgers, identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies.

Requirements
  • A proven track record in a similar accounting or finance role.
  • A solid understanding of billing, AP/AR, and reconciliation processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
