A machine operator sets up, operates, and maintains industrial machinery to produce goods, ensuring smooth and efficient production according to quality and safety standards. Key duties include machine calibration, material handling, continuous monitoring, quality checks, minor repairs, data recording, and adhering to safety protocols to minimize downtime and maximize output.

Responsibilities

  • Machine Setup & Calibration:

Prepare and adjust machinery for production, installing and calibrating parts for optimal precision.
- Operation:

Safely and efficiently run machinery to transform raw materials into finished products.
- Quality Control:

Inspect products for defects, conduct quality checks, and make necessary adjustments to meet standards.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

Perform routine maintenance, conduct basic repairs, and identify/report malfunctions to ensure equipment functionality.
- Monitoring & Data Recording:

Continuously monitor machine operation for quality and efficiency, and maintain logs of production, maintenance, and quality metrics.
- Safety & Compliance:

Adhere to strict safety protocols, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensure the work area is clean and organized.
- Material Handling:

Load raw materials into machines and unload finished products from the equipment.
- Teamwork & Communication:

Collaborate with team members and communicate issues to supervisors or maintenance personnel.

Qualifications

  • Vocational/College/NCII Passer for Technician or Machinery
  • Atleast 20 to 40 Year's old
  • Work experience in manufacturing, machinery and equipment.
  • Computer literate and can operate different kind of machines and equipment.
