Paraplanner Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Paraplanner to join our team in Ortigas. This role involves providing quality, compliant, and timely statements of advice in accordance with current legislation and licensee requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Producing Statements of Advice of varying range and complexity in a timely manner as directed by the Licensee using XPlan and other software.
  • Ensure that all time critical advice documents are sent within designated time frames.
  • Manage turnaround times and deadlines appropriately.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be required to:

  • Research existing and potential replacement products to prepare the most appropriate recommendations for clients in an advice document.
  • Prepare advice in accordance with Best Interest Duty obligations and procedures.
  • Liaise with the Advice Team to follow up outstanding requirements.
  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Financial Planning Administrator, including Policy Calls and APU preparations.
Requirements:
  • Understanding of financial planning and advice documentation (Minimum DFP and RG146).
  • Understanding of current legal and industry regulations and frameworks.
  • Experience in the financial planning industry, preferably with at least 3 years experience.
  • Strong understanding of the financial planning industry in Australia.
