Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Drawing Designer to join our design team. In this role, you will be responsible for drawing,developing, reviewing, and coordinating detailed construction drawings that align with project specifications and design intent. You will work closely with project managers, interior designers, and site supervisors to ensure seamless execution from design to construction.

Job Description:

Interior Construction Drawings Development

  • Create accurate and detailed construction drawings for fit-out projects, including floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, sections, and detail drawings.
  • Translate design concepts into construction-ready documentation.
  • Ensure drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.

Drawing Review & Quality Control

  • Review and verify drawings to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with project goals.
  • Carry out the necessary Shopdrawing work to ensure the smooth progress of on-site construction.
  • Coordinate with the design and engineering teams to resolve discrepancies and incorporate feedback.

Site Inspections & Verification

  • Conduct site visits to assess and verify existing conditions prior to drawing finalization.
  • Ensure that on-site measurements and observations are accurately reflected in the drawings.

Construction Support & Coordination

  • Collaborate with construction teams to ensure implementation aligns with drawings.
  • Provide technical support and guidance during the construction phase, addressing any issues or deviations from the design.

Design Integrity & Consultation

  • Offer professional insights to ensure the feasibility and efficiency of design execution.
  • Assist in value engineering processes without compromising design intent.
  • Perform any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support project and team needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years preferred) in interior construction drawing and detailing, especially for high-end interior projects.
  • Proven track record in managing and executing high-end casino and hotel projects.
  • Strong understanding of interior fit-out construction methods, materials, and detailing.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or other CAD/BIM software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities to work across multiple teams.
  • Can start immediately.

Preferred skills:

  • Experience working with project management tools and file-sharing platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.
  • Hands-on site experience and practical knowledge of on-site construction processes.
