Supply Chain Management Professional

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of supply chain management principles and be able to effectively coordinate the movement of goods, services, and information from point of origin to customer placement.

Responsibilities:
  1. Verify accuracy of documents (DR, SI, PO) and ensure DRs have stamp and signature of relevant authorities.
  2. Manage inventory levels, labelling, and system transactions in a timely manner.
  3. Conduct weekly inventory audits and encode updates for location and monitoring.
  4. Lead and manage inventory cycle counts, ensuring high levels of inventory accuracy.
  5. Oversee end-to-end material management for direct and indirect materials.
  6. Improve material flow among different warehouse locations and shopfloor areas.
  7. Prepare justification for headcount requests and support talent development initiatives.
  8. Review and approve incoming bills of lading, addressing discrepancies and ensuring compliance with billing requirements.
  9. Maintain environmental health and safety standards associated with responsibilities.
  10. Comply with regulatory requirements, including EHS and GST.
  11. Provide detailed reports and analysis on freight spend and transportation improvement programs.
  12. Coordinate communication and coordination with government agencies, customs brokers, and other stakeholders as needed.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering field.
  2. At least 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management and industry.
  3. At least 3 or more years of experience as a people manager.
