About the Role

  • Proactively assess and resolve complex technical issues across various platforms, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge bases, ensuring that all stakeholders have access to relevant information and resources.
  • Serve as a liaison between technical teams and external partners, fostering effective communication and driving collaboration.
  • Work collaboratively to identify and address system vulnerabilities, implementing proactive measures to safeguard against potential threats.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve processes, promoting efficiency and scalability within the organisation.
  • Identify areas for growth and development, providing constructive feedback to drive individual and collective success.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical support, with a proven track record of resolving complex issues and delivering high-quality results.
  • Extensive knowledge of UNIX/Linux commands and functions, with experience working in cloud-environment settings.
  • Proficiency in Zendesk or similar ticketing systems, with expertise in incident management and escalation procedures.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a strong willingness to learn and grow in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritising tasks and managing competing deadlines.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Knowledgeable in crypto-trading principles and practices, with a deep understanding of blockchain technology.
  • Experience with Docker and Docker commands, with proficiency in containerisation and orchestration.
  • Strong system administration skills, with a solid grasp of database structures and SQL query writing.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies, including Linux/Unix, AWS, GCP, or Azure.
