Senior Financial Analyst Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the accuracy of compensation programs. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate and timely compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and maintenance of the quarterly compensation workbook independently, ensuring precision and completeness.
  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end company-wide compensation process, driving continuous improvements and efficiencies.
  • Prepare and submit monthly incentives and bonus calculation files, reviewing and maintaining relevant data needed for accurate calculations.
  • Maintain sensitive and confidential information securely, in compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Address complex commission and bonus inquiries, adjustments, and corrections promptly.
  • Collaborate with revenue operations teams on systems improvements for commissions.
  • Document and maintain processes for monthly, quarterly, and annual commission accounting tasks and audits.

Qualifications:

  • Creates complex spreadsheets, formulas, pivot tables, and data visualizations in Microsoft Excel with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintains exceptional attention to detail, staying organized while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Engages and communicates confidently with senior leaders and C-Suite executives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, engineering, mathematics, economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in Sales Compensation, FP&A, or a finance-related role.
  • Must have stable employment history.
