Job Opportunity: Quality Assurance Tester

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Tester with expertise in software testing methodologies and experience working in Agile environments. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication skills to articulate issues and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Review requirements and design documents to create comprehensive test cases that ensure quality standards are upheld.
  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing on digital banking builds/releases to identify defects and verify bug fixes.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and UX designers to maintain high-quality products.
  • Raise detailed and reproducible defect reports and verify bug fixes.
  • Maintain and execute manual test cases to ensure seamless user experiences.
  • Contribute to building and executing automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support UAT activities and documentation for regulatory compliance needs.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in QA testing with a focus on digital banking or fintech environment experience.
  • Strong knowledge of functional and regression testing methodologies.
  • Experience with using Jira or similar tools to manage testing tasks.
  • Understanding of banking products and digital user journeys is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills to articulate issues and work with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive and eager to learn, especially digital banking trends.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
