Job Title: Accounting Professional
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented accounting professional to support our growing organization.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, enjoy making things happen, and always seek to improve processes within a dynamic team environment.
- Support the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice and payment processing, general ledger coding, vendor maintenance, and record-keeping.
- Build strong relationships across departments by managing billing and payment issues with timely resolution.
- Process corporate credit cards in accordance with internal policies and controls.
- Assist with month, quarter-end, and annual close activities, preparing additional reports as requested by senior management.
- Review and audit credit card statements and charges to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Suggest changes or improvements to increase efficiency, cost reductions, and process enhancements.
- Liaise between business units to ensure sales commissions are processed on time.
- Support ad hoc projects and analysis, focusing on financial research, market trends, and other areas as requested.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of accounting experience, with QuickBooks expertise required.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to multi-task, establish priorities, work independently, and organize effectively.
- Proficiency in Google Suite of Apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail).
- Trustworthiness and ability to maintain confidentiality.
