We are seeking an experienced Power System Engineer to lead technical activities in PSS/E, PSCAD, Powerfactory and Hypersim modeling environments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing and directing activities for power system studies, ensuring compliance with national electricity rules and standards
  • Completing generator performance standard studies, including registration and compliance testing
  • Preparing technical reports, designing project controls, managing subcontractors, and developing cost-effective engineering solutions

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics
  • 3-5 years' experience in full end-to-end delivery of multi-discipline complex high-voltage grid connection projects
  • Background in an engineering design, build & commission operating environment
  • Strong HSEQ focus and passion for delivery and achieving strong results in areas of commercial performance and customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels
  • Proficient multi-tasker with a friendly, positive, can-do attitude
  • Experience using PSCAD Software
