As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for performing and directing activities for power system studies in various modeling environments. You will work on generator performance standard studies compliant with national regulations and prepare technical reports for the generator connection process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and direct power system studies in PSS/E, PSCAD, Powerfactory, and Hypersim modeling environments">
  • Complete generator performance standard studies compliant with schedule 5 of the national electricity rules">
  • Prepare technical reports for the generator connection process, including generator performance standard studies, registration, and compliance testing">
  • Design and manage projects, controlling costs and developing effective engineering solutions">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics">
  • 3 – 5 years' experience in delivering high voltage grid connection projects">
  • Background in an engineering design, build & commission operating environment">
  • Strong focus on Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ)">
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels">
  • Proficient multi-tasker with a friendly, positive attitude">
  • Experience using PSCAD Software">
