JOB SUMMARY: Directs the overall management and operations of the Short Term or Daily Leasing unit of SMDC Good Stays.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provides administrative support to the department, such as but not limited to the following:

  • Manage Daily Lease operations in all projects where daily lease is being offered
  • Manage all staff including involved in dailies operation including but not limited to receptionists and room attendants
  • Ensure achievement of topline revenue targets
  • Handle client relations, from both unit owners, guests and other internal clients Make timely, fair, and informed decisions on concerns and complaints raised
  • Ensure efficient operations and compliance to budget
  • Monitor room availability and occupancy
  • Ensure online presence are active and rate are at par with the market
  • Ensure operating standards and procedures are in place and are being followed
  • Conduct regular unit inspection
  • Ensure reports are submitted in a timely manner
  • Manage inventory for operation and ensure completeness and readiness of report
  • Conduct quarterly market study
  • Designing business plans for assigned properties that suit customers' needs
  • Think of innovative ways, promotions and services to increase revenue and efficient collection Effectively train new hires and ensure their readiness to handle the demands of the new job
  • Foster strong relationships and good teamwork within the team by promoting inclusivity and camaraderie Defines the responsibilities and accountabilities of the roles in the unit/department, and selects qualified talents based on the role requirements
  • Provides job orientation and coaching to direct reports, identifies training needs, and initiates employee development
  • Directs, monitors and evaluates employee performance and recommends appropriate action e.g. promotion, transfer, disciplinary action
  • Develops and implements the annual plans and budget, policies, procedures, and standards of the unit/department
  • Performs other related functions inherent in team operation, acts as corporate resource and performs other tasks assigned by higher management
