Area Manager

Scope of work:
1. Stakeholder Management
a. Regularly engage with the CEO, COO and Operations team to provide updates on cluster performance, challenges, and opportunities.
b. Seek guidance and alignment on strategic decisions and major initiatives that impact the assigned area.
c. Share RS community insights and customer feedback to help refine operations development strategies.
d. Provide input on staffing requirements, supply chain adjustments, and delivery logistics to meet the additional volume efficiently.
e. Contribute to strategic planning sessions with the executive team to align area goals with the company's broader objectives.
f. Prepare regular reports for management team on store and team performance.
2. Attendance and Tardiness Management
a. Track and manage attendance and tardiness issues of shoppers, runners, store coordinators and dispatch team.
b. Implement corrective actions and attendance policies as necessary.
3. Performance Management
a. Make sure that all direct reports receive feedback regarding their actual and KPI targets to maintain consistently high productivity levels.
b. Continuously monitor and report on KPIs for each store and team
c. Train, and mentor store coordinators, dispatching teams, shoppers, and runners on how you can be more effective in collaborating as a team
d. Ensure company policy is strong enforced across the team
e. Implement a performance management plan and make corrective actions as necessary.
f. Conduct weekly team meetings to align priorities and strategize on achieving OTD targets.
g. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
4. On-Time Delivery (OTD) Management:
a. Collaborate with analytics teams to identify gaps in OTD for driver community operations.
b. Formulate action plans and update processes to improve OTD.
c. Implement strategies to bridge gaps between couriers, shoppers, store coordinators and dispatching team
d. Continuously monitor and report on OTD performance, adjusting strategies as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven 2+ years' experience in multi-store management, operations, or logistics. - Strong leadership and team management skills
- Can effectively coach, train, and upskill his team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Results-driven and goal-oriented.
- Knowledge of local retail and delivery regulations (a plus).
