Customer Account Analyst

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer account analytics
• Historic sales review
• Lost customer review – where did a customer go
• Lost item sale review – demonstrate where item sales have diminished so the morning shift can focus on those within their customers
Margin review
• line item level to demonstrate where product is being sold below our current average margin
• line item review where the market dictates our margin can grow
• Open order Expedite
• PH Supply chain team is running hand to mouth chasing actual PO expedites on the P21 side, adding INSQL today will just put us in line (InSQL Pos are not acknowledged or expedited in the PH yet)
• Analysts will review all orders that have not been acknowledged and contact suppliers for the POA
• Analysts will report back to Supply chain their updates weekly
• Purchase order questions will be escalated to the purchaser listed on the PO
• Chip and I spoke about his team owning this, this will give them the ability to catch up on P21 before they ramp up INSQL
Inventory review
• EO analysis – ongoing
• Item strategic location – where is the best location for specific inventory to be staged (based on usage)
• Suggest inventory moves within our existing inventory
• Where should supply chain target import strategy
• Run usage analysis and target high repletion, low liability standard items to import and reduce COGS vs master distributors
Other areas to review for the admin’s assistance
• Intercompany analysis
• Strategic customer QBR data pulls and build
• Expand to AMs using for specific customer analysis and sales expansion

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.

Experience & Skills
• At least 1-2 years of experience in data analysis, account management, or supply chain operations.
• Proficient in Excel and data reporting tools.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to review and interpret sales, margin, inventory, and order data.
• Familiarity with purchase orders, order tracking, and supplier communication.
Key Competencies
• Sales and margin analysis (e.g., identifying lost customers/items, low-margin sales).
• Inventory analysis and supply chain support (e.g., EO analysis, item placement strategies).
• Strong communication skills for supplier follow-ups and internal reporting.
• Ability to support customer growth through strategic reporting (e.g., QBR data builds, usage analysis).
Tools & Systems Knowledge
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., P21 or similar).
• Familiarity with order management and inventory systems (e.g., INSQL).
• Reporting and dashboard creation skills (basic preferred).
Soft Skills
• Team player with initiative and problem-solving ability.
• Organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive in identifying and addressing supply chain or customer account issues.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• Experience as an Analyst or related position in Finance or Economics
• Being detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy.
• Organizational skills
• Demonstrated business acumen, initiative, and strong data analysis skills
• Power BI, P21, SQL and Halo experience is preferred
