Job description:

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for conducting financial analysis and developing financial models to support strategic decision-making, budgeting, forecasting, and business planning. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, a deep understanding of financial statements, and proficiency in building complex financial models using Excel and other financial software.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain robust financial models for business planning, capital budgeting, investment analysis, and scenario forecasting.
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and dashboards for senior management.
- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts in collaboration with department heads.
- Conduct valuation analysis as needed for potential investments or business decisions.
- Perform variance analysis comparing actual results to budgets/forecasts and explain deviations.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve company performance and profitability.
- Support the development of business cases for new projects, expansions, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with Accounting, Procurement, and Operations teams for data gathering and validation.
- Monitor key financial and operational KPIs, and ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (CPA or CFA a plus).
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, preferably in corporate finance, consulting, or investment banking.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Excellent understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills; ability to present financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
