Job Summary:

The ERP Application Specialist (AX12) will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the AX12 ERP system. This role involves configuring, troubleshooting, and enhancing the system to meet the organization’s needs. The specialist will work closely with business units, providing technical support, ensuring smooth operation of the system, and assisting in the implementation of new functionalities. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX12 and strong problem-solving skills to enhance overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain the Microsoft Dynamics AX12 ERP system, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Collaborate with business units to gather and understand requirements, translating them into technical solutions within the ERP.
Configure, customize, and enhance AX12 functionalities to align with business processes.
Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and provide technical support to end-users for AX12-related issues.
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within the ERP system.
Develop and deliver training for users to maximize the efficient use of AX12 functionalities.
Assist in the planning and execution of AX12 system upgrades, migrations, and integrations with other applications.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including configurations, processes, and support guides.
Work with vendors and third-party providers to resolve technical issues and implement new features or modules.
Monitor system performance, conducting regular audits and applying necessary patches or updates.
Support in driving continuous improvements in ERP-related processes to optimize productivity.

Required Skills and Competencies:
Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics AX12 system administration, configuration, and development.
Proficiency in SQL, database management, and data integration.
Understanding of business processes in areas such as finance, supply chain, and operations within an ERP framework.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of industry best practices for ERP implementations and support.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX12.
Relevant certifications in ERP or Microsoft Dynamics AX12 are preferred.
Experience in ERP implementation, system integration, and project management is a plus.
