The Scrum Master's prime responsibilities are to:

  • Act as a coach to the members of the Scrum.
  • Ensure all scrum based activities are completed in a timely manner
  • Work to define the scrum's role, outcomes and processes
  • Remove obstacles and distractions that impede the team from meeting goals.
  • Act as liaison between the Scrum team and people or teams outside the Scrum team.
Responsibilities
  • Participate as a member of the distributed Scrum team across Asia, Pacific and Europe
  • Ensure all scrum based activities are completed in a timely manner, this includes:
    • Defining and organising Scrum roles
    • Sprint planning
    • Daily scrum/standups
    • Sprint reviews
    • Sprint retrospectives
  • Measuring scrum metrics and suggesting improvements
  • Work with the Product Owner to ensure the product backlog tasks are prioritised for upcoming sprints
Governance & Delivery
  • Align with the APAC and Global PMO processes and security standards as advised.
  • Work with GSS on any penetration testing.
