Job Description:

This position will work with system users and with other system admins across the world to ensure that Blackline administration service and related financial controls are performed with the highest quality.

The Global Admin Specialist responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

  1. Act as a subject matter expert for any issues relating to Blackline software.
  2. Enable and disable users in testing and production environments.
  3. Release the global account reconciliation periods for 3M.
  4. Coordinate with IT department the troubleshooting of system errors.
  5. Ensure timely and accurate processing of all Blackline requests from end-users and stakeholders.
  6. Perform masterdata changes upon request (account assignments, grouping, risk rating, etc).
  7. Perform daily activities and controls before the release and after the release BlackLine process.
  8. Perform system configuration changes upon request.
  9. Coordinate regional / global tasks with other system admins.
  10. Support all global projects and business units deployments in the system based on global calendar.
  11. Provide ad-hoc trainings to end-users and stakeholders about Blackline system.
  12. Assist in maintaining up to date training and application documentation.
  13. Execute internal controls and reporting tasks.
  14. Work as a backup for SOX and GFS admin processes.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree (completed) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related fields.
  2. 3 years of experience in Finance roles.
  3. Good working knowledge of ERP systems (strong preference for SAP and PeopleSoft).
  4. Fluent English (equal or more than 80% - reading, writing, speaking skills).
  5. Knowledge proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  6. A problem solver with a client service and quality oriented mindset.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience working within Service Center environment.
  2. Process improvement experience – Lean Six Sigma.
  3. Experience working as system administrator is a plus.
