Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a BPO Accounting Manager located in SOUTHWOODS TOWER, BINAN LAGUNA. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial statements, analyzing data, preparing journal entries, managing finances, and handling fixed assets.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Ensuring compliance with Phil GAAP, Accounting Standards, local and statutory reporting requirements including but not limited to BIR, SEC, PEZA and other government agencies as applicable.
  2. Maintaining effective and efficient month-end and year-end close processes.
  3. Overseeing the recording, tracking, and reporting of financial information.
  4. Providing variance analysis of financial information and recommendations on any cost savings.
  5. Overall planning and preparation of budget.
  6. Coordinating and completing any tax or local government annual statutory and compliance audit.
  7. Developing and implementing department controls and procedures and ensuring it operates effectively.
  8. Optimizing systems and processes to meet company's goals and objectives and safeguard company assets.
  9. Conducting balance sheet and monthly account reconciliation reviews.
  10. Serving as a key point of contact for auditors, managing preparation and support of all internal and external audits.
  11. Exhibiting excellent interpersonal skills to develop strong business relationships and provide functional leadership.
  12. Demonstrating a disciplined work ethic, detail-oriented approach, and organizational skills.
  13. Working across cultures and functions seamlessly.
  14. Having a strong personality with experience in handling people.
  15. Identifying and effectively communicating risks, opportunities, and potential solutions to improve business processes.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Minimum 5 years' experience in Finance and Accounting.
  2. Exceptional working knowledge of accounting and revenue recognition principles.
  3. Advanced knowledge of accounting best practices and standardized accounting policies and procedures.
  4. Hands-on experience transacting in multiple currencies required including financial consolidation and currency translation.
  5. Experience in using Quickbooks online.
  6. Highly proficient in using Microsoft Office.
  7. Willingness to work flexible hours, including graveyard shifts if needed.
