A Chat Support Representative is responsible for assisting customers through live chat platforms. The role involves responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing accurate information in a timely and professional manner. Agents are expected to maintain a friendly and empathetic tone while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Handle multiple chat conversations simultaneously.
  • Provide accurate, clear, and concise information to customers.
  • Assist with troubleshooting, account inquiries, product/service details, and order status.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher support teams when necessary.
  • Ensure proper documentation of interactions in the system.
  • Deliver excellent customer experience by being patient, proactive, and solution-oriented.
Qualifications
  • Strong written communication skills with good grammar and spelling.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM/chat platforms is an advantage.
  • Customer service experience is a plus but not always required.
