Overview

We're looking for a Technical Recruiter to partner closely with our founder and play a pivotal role in scaling our team. You'll be at the heart of sourcing and building relationships with top-tier software engineering talent, supporting fast-growing startups across AI, Web3, and emerging technologies. In this role, you'll start by mastering sourcing and search strategies, then gradually take ownership of screening, candidate management, and eventually the full sourcing function. Along the way, you'll benefit from close mentorship, tailored career development, and a competitive commission structure.

Compensation: Placements 1–2 = $500 AUD per placement; 3–4 = $750 AUD per placement; 4+ = $1,000 AUD per placement.

What You'll Do

Recruitment Sourcing

  • Execute search strategies across LinkedIn, Loxo, and candidate platforms to identify high-value talent.
  • Screen inbound applications, triage CVs, and manage outreach to ensure a strong candidate pipeline.
  • Craft personalised outreach messages and maintain accurate records in the ATS.
  • Conduct high-level screening, moving into phone and video interviews as you progress.

Candidate Engagement

  • Coordinate high-value candidate relationships and manage systematic check-ins.
  • Maintain active and passive talent pools with regular touchpoints.
  • Prepare professional candidate profiles and coversheets for client presentation.
  • Support market mapping projects to identify top technical talent pools.
  • Enrich candidate data through coding, categorisation, and skills tagging.
  • Assist with reporting, research, and database optimisation.

Business Development Support

  • Assist lead collection and enrichment by identifying potential business opportunities.
  • Support consultants with market research and insights from candidate conversations.
  • Work directly with the founder, supporting day-to-day recruitment operations.
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Grow into managing outreach campaigns and owning the sourcing function.
What You Bring

We're looking for someone who:

  • Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with ATS/CRM systems like Loxo or Recruiterflow.
  • Comfort with candidate categorisation, skills mapping, and data management.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, with bonus points for Notion, Canva, or AI tool experience.
