Business Acquisition and Development Manager for Alternative Distribution

The Business Development and Relationship Management Officer is responsible for developing strategies to drive both short-term and long-term profit-generating opportunities through strategic partnerships (B2B, B2C) using traditional and non-traditional distribution channels.

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Convert strategy into tactical solutions to ensure departmental alignment.
  2. Assist with market studies and provide insights on competitors to recommend valuable and competitive products for customers.
  3. Ensure annual sales and profitability targets are achieved.
  4. Establish, develop, and launch business partnerships.
  5. Execute and integrate new partnerships effectively.
  6. Manage and strengthen existing partnerships.
  7. Conduct market analysis on product competitiveness and provide strategic insights.
  8. Ensure partners are properly trained to distribute products.
  9. Support processes that uphold service level agreements.
  10. Develop, implement, and monitor sales programs and campaigns.
  11. Promote and reinforce company communications and initiatives.
  12. Collaborate with leadership and product teams to define product needs and partner programs.
  13. Track and optimize partnership performance, addressing issues proactively.
  14. Work with the Corporate Solutions team to maximize client relationships and strategic partnerships.
  15. Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities to increase sales.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Graduate of a 4-year course, preferably in Business or Marketing.
  2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in Business Development and Account Acquisition, preferably in a financial institution.
  3. Experience managing an accounts relationship portfolio or company acquisition portfolio with successful outcomes.
  4. Existing network of clients or corporate clients.
  5. Sales and marketing-oriented mindset.
  6. Proficiency in business proposal creation and presentation skills.
  7. Experience in research and business expansion for distribution channels.
  8. Track record of developing successful strategies that add value to organizations and customers through financial solutions.
  9. Experience in conducting life insurance training emphasizing financial security.
