Singlife Philippines is hiring a HR Generalist. The HR Generalist will be responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the Human Resources department. The duties will include various HR facets in recruitment, data management, compensation and benefits, payroll, training and other people-oriented strategies. Additionally, this role will support office management and executive support.

Responsibilities:

People Operations

  1. Assist in strategic and tactical workforce planning and acquisition aligned with the company's business plan.
  2. Support and coordinate recruitment activities with hiring managers and external vendors.
  3. Assist in onboarding activities for newly hired employees and ensure completion of pre-employment requirements as well as completion of payroll data.
  4. Coordinate training initiatives and schedules as needed.
  5. Create monthly payroll inputs from new hires and internal changes to the external payroll partner while ensuring that all data are valid and correct.
  6. Take charge of the offboarding activities for resigning employees.
  7. Ensure that the HR database is timely updated and with verified information. Submit monthly HR reports for the leadership team with timely updates of the company Org Chart.
  8. Assist the HR Manager in formulating, organizing, and implementing targeted activities towards employee engagement to address specific needs as agreed with the leadership team.
  9. Act as a steward of culture and promote a climate of high performance, teamwork, collaboration, and effective communication.

Office Operations

  1. Assist the HR Manager in developing and implementing office protocols by establishing standards and procedures aligned with the workspace vendor, building management and governing laws to safeguard the health and safety of all employees.
  2. Organize logistical requirements such as, but not limited to, document routing and delivery, inventory control and replenishment of standard office supplies.
  3. Serve as point of contact for the employees and managers for people-related concerns and for KMC for facilities-related concerns.

Requirements:

  1. BA/BS in Human Resources Management or relevant field.
  2. Proven 3+ year work experience as a HR Assistant/ HR Generalist or a similar role in the Human Resource Department.
  3. Reliable and independent.
  4. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  5. Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
