We are looking for an accomplished Senior Manager to lead and drive the Digital Engineering Technology function for a fast-growing global consulting delivery center. This role is strategic in nature and will play a vital part in building high-performing teams, guiding technology adoption, and delivering digital transformation initiatives with excellence. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping capability strategy, fostering innovation, and ensuring delivery excellence across digital engineering projects.
Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to a high-performing digital engineering team.
- Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Design career development frameworks aligned with individual aspirations and organizational needs.
- Oversee recruitment, talent development, and performance management with clear metrics and goals.
- Technical & Engineering Oversight
- Over 13 years of relevant experience, with deep exposure to cloud technologies, IoT, AI/ML, and scalable digital platforms.
- Strong command over the digital tech stack, including:
- Backend/Integration: Java, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, Flink/Cloud Flow, Hibernate
- Databases: DynamoDB, Cassandra, MongoDB, MySQL
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
- Microservices & APIs: RESTful, Event-Driven, Streaming Architectures
- Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
- DevOps Tools: Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, Junit, Mockito, AquaSec, Mend
- Build Tools: Maven, Gradle
- Web Servers & OS: Tomcat, Windows, Linux
- Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with a focus on modern engineering practices.
- Strategic & Operational Management
- Business Development: Identify and lead strategic growth initiatives, including client proposals and business cases.
- Technology & Innovation Leadership: Actively monitor emerging technologies and evolving industry trends and drive innovation by introducing modern tools, platforms, and frameworks across engineering teams.
- Client Relationship & Delivery Excellence
- Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 13 years of professional experience in technology leadership, with proven results in digital transformation and managing cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in financial services or other complex, regulated industries is an advantage.
- TOGAF or other architecture certifications are preferred but not required.
