Role description:
To provide professional administrative support and a single point of contact for coordinating the gate approval process for new opportunities.
Role accountabilities:
- Provide administrative and proposal coordination support to the Commercial Enablement (CE) (Pursuits and Proposals) Team including diary coordination, setting up meetings/events, database maintenance, as required.
- Coordinate the pursuit approval (go / no go) process for new opportunities i.e. gate approval meetings, as required by the Australian business and some parts of global opportunities.
- Distribute opportunity and pursuit information to relevant stakeholders in accordance with agreed criteria.
- Maintain opportunity and sales database and follow up pursuit of opportunities.
- Respond to and resolve enquiries, judging when to escalate complex queries.
- Assist the CE Team with their active proposals e.g. editing/formatting CVs according to the Team and Arcadis guidelines.
- Support the Team with ad hoc tasks as required.
- Ability to handle multiple confidential tasks at any given time.
- Ability to interact with a wide variety of stakeholders throughout the development of sales opportunities.
- Excellent time management and self-management skills and ability to work on tight deadlines.
- Excellent prioritization and organizational skills to manage workload.
- Bachelor's Degree (English, Business Administration or related degrees etc.)
- Excellent English in both verbal and written communication.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work is essential.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and respond to last minute requests and compressed production schedules.
- Ability to work under pressure and take initiative.
- Clear communication style.
