We are a Sales Enablement Agency specializing in digital sales and assisting businesses in their digital transformation journey. We are leaders in our field and collaborate with global brands in enterprise SaaS and Fintech accelerators. Our client is seeking a B2B IT sales professional to join their team full-time in a secondment role. This position will be based in your home country within ASEAN, and fluency in Japanese at N2 level is required.
About the Role
The primary responsibility of the SDR is to set appointments for the BDM to initiate the sales process. Most leads will be inbound, with a smaller portion generated through outbound efforts. You should have extensive experience in outbound sales and social selling. You are proactive, understand effective processes, and will lead by example. You will work with pre-assembled prospect lists, make calls to introduce yourself, and aim to schedule discovery meetings. Calling is a core skill for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Make 60-80 calls daily
- Arrange appointments with Japan-based prospects for the local BDMs
- Update and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in CRM
- Meet monthly KPIs
Requirements:
- Conduct calls in Japanese to prospects based in Japan
- English proficiency at 9/10 level is mandatory
- Minimum of 1-5 years experience in B2B sales
- At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in B2B SaaS sales is preferred
Qualifications:
- Fundamental understanding of the sales process (marketing, prospecting, cold calling, sales cycle)
- Skilled in social selling techniques
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior executives
- Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
- High energy and a positive attitude
- Degree qualification or equivalent
- Advanced LinkedIn skills, including Sales Navigator
- Proficiency in Salesforce and ZoomInfo
