Interior Design for Procurement

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reviews all interior fit-out design drawings and specifications and verifies Materials Requisition and Canvass Sheets, Purchase Requisitions of Materials, Supplies and Services submitted by requesting party and sees to it that is duly signed by authorize signatories.

  • Checks all interior designs on Material Requisition and Purchase Requisitions to make sure that all interior specifications and requirements are clearly stated, quantities and date required by requesting partly thoroughly considered.

  • Source for new suppliers for various materials and services related to architectural and interior finish requirement.

  • Investigates new and existing supplier's credibility and ongoing projects.

  • Evaluation of technical and material specification requirement s and recommend value engineering methods.

  • Negotiates with various suppliers on price, terms of payments, quality of the products to be delivered, delivery period and other possible related expenses.

  • Coordinate with the supplier on the delivery schedule, construction work, schedule and other material requirement.

  • Conduct inspection at supplier's fabrication yard and warehouse to check the quality and quantity of materials purchased.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Interior Design or equivalent.

  • At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

  • Required Skill(s): Interior fit-out

  • Must be detailed oriented, with strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize work load, and work independently to meet commitments.
