Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our design team in the hospitality sector.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and coordinating design projects from conception to completion. This includes planning, organizing, and monitoring project activities to ensure timely delivery within budget constraints.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing interior design concepts and strategies for various hospitality projects
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
  • Initiating conceptual design, providing direction on image selection and graphic layouts, and reviewing presentations and material boards
  • Distributing and maintaining project-related documentation
  • Maintaining positive relationships with clients, internal staff, contractors, external consultants, and public agencies
  • Coordinating client meetings, preparing meeting minutes, and publishing them to relevant parties
  • Allocating design fees and hours by project phase, task, and team member
  • Monitoring overall staff utilization and managing labor budgets
  • Preparing proposal requests and contracts
  • Coordinating the work of external consultants
  • Reviewing timesheets for project team members and ensuring adherence to allocated time constraints

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10-12 years of experience in project coordination, management, design, and construction administration
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or interior design required
  • Architectural licensure or post-professional certification in Interior Design required
  • Strong background in architecture, interiors, and construction, with a comprehensive working knowledge of drawing, specifications, and FF&E development
  • Ability to interpret architectural, interior, and consultant drawings accurately
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Adobe Acrobat, and standard Windows-based software
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%
