Job Title: Building Design Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced building design manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing construction plans and designs within approved standards and parameters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather information through site inspections, research, and analysis to prepare architectural and civil works designs, specifications, scope of works, cost estimates, and timetables.
  • Draft plans for architectural and engineering works based on designs, specifications, scope of works, established standards, and construction guidelines.
  • Take-off quantities and prepare bills of materials; estimate labor costs and overall project costs; prepare cost estimates, bid documents, invitations to bid, and other procurement forms.
  • Attend pre-bid conferences, explain design details to contractors, analyze and verify bids for architectural and civil works, and attend pre-award conferences to clarify requirements.
  • Conduct research on materials and new developments and their applicability for projects.
  • Manage construction plans and designs within approved budgets and cost variance controls.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of Architecture, preferably licensed.
  • Five (5) years of experience in design, development, and project supervision of development works for building interiors, spaces, and fixtures for retail commercial establishments.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3D rendering programs; experience with material take-off, cost estimates, and technical reports.
  • Agile Project Management, Vendor management; highly analytical with good communication skills.
