Job Summary

Reporting to the HR Director, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a liaison between the business units it supports and the Corporate HR Department. The HRBP works closely with business leaders and managers to understand the people's challenges of the business and align HR strategies and initiatives with the overall business objectives of the organization. The HRBP collaborates with the respective HR section leaders in providing HR solutions to business units.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide guidance and support to business unit leaders on various HR related matters such as workforce planning, talent acquisition, learning and development, employee relations and organizational development.
  2. Assist in managing organizational change initiatives such as restructuring or process improvements in the areas of communication, training and employee engagement.
  3. Provide feedback to business unit leaders and Corporate HR on state of people requirements of business units (performance management, employee relations and other HR areas).
  4. Provide advice and consultation in talent management processes, including identifying key talent, succession planning, and career development. Work with managers to ensure that the organization has the right people in the right roles to achieve its objectives.
  5. Provide coaching/insights and perspectives to leaders in employee relations issues, policy interpretation and application, talent management and development and organizational design consultation.
  6. Conduct ongoing supply and demand analysis on current and future state staffing and skills needed and design talent acquisition strategies to meet those needs.
  7. Ensure that HR practices and policies comply with relevant laws and regulations. Help in mitigating HR-related risks by advising on compliance issues and assist in implementing appropriate policies and procedures.
  8. Participate in the continual development of HR programs, such as recruiting, retention, compensation, benefits, learning & development.
  9. Update on current trends and innovative attraction and retention best practices.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  2. Proven at least 8 years experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role, demonstrating successful HR strategy development and implementation.
  3. Knowledge and applied HR best practices, Organizational Development, Project Management, Talent Management, Employee Engagement and Labor laws.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data in HR strategies and decision-making.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
