What is this role about?

The role will contribute to the design and implementation of learning programs and solutions related to functional onboarding, reskilling, upskilling, competency development and mastery, and execution of business programs/initiatives.

In addition, the role will conduct regular consultation and alignment meetings with internal stakeholders (department heads, immediate heads, employees, domain experts, HR Vice President, Learning Manager, and other members of the HR Team, as needed), deliver or facilitate learning sessions as a facilitator or co-facilitator (including virtual sessions); and work with external training providers/vendors/partners, as needed, and engage in self-paced but multiple activities related to the different phases of the Learning cycle (i.e., research/benchmarking study, needs assessment, design of learning modules, delivery/implementation, evaluation, documentation, and reporting).

What will YOU do?

  1. Conduct scoping of learning gaps and requirements to determine the appropriate design, outline, timeline, methodology, and cost for each learning program by collaborating with department/immediate heads and/or employees.
  2. Create or update training materials such as training plans, facilitator's guides, participant's handouts, written assessments, hands-on exercises, presentation slides, and other supplementary materials to ensure they are aligned based on the agreed-upon learning design and curriculum in collaboration with the domain (subject matter) expert/s.
  3. Deliver or facilitate learning activities/sessions to equip employees with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their roles and assist in logistical preparations and training program execution, as needed.
  4. Evaluate the effectiveness of different learning programs and initiatives to support the organization's business objectives by conducting research and benchmarking studies.
  5. Participate in discussions and collaborations with external training partners to ensure clarity and alignment of expectations across all phases of the applicable learning programs/initiatives and projects.
  6. Ensure the completeness of training-related documentation by collecting and organizing files such as training agreements, evaluation forms, program/project working files, training databases and folders, and other references.
  7. Communicate the status of ongoing learning programs, and results of completed learning programs to different stakeholders through timely and accurate submission of reports.
  8. Perform other functions that may be assigned from time to time.

What will YOU need?

  1. Graduate of a four-year course relating to Business, Psychology, HR Management, or equivalent courses, from reputable universities.
  2. At least 4-5 years of related experience, preferably from the Manufacturing, Retail, Energy, Oil/Gas, FMCG, or Service Industries.
  3. Adept in Program/Project Planning and Implementation, Written and Verbal Communication, Platform and Presentation, Stakeholder Management, End-to-end Training Management Experience (Training Needs Analysis, Module/Course Development, Actual Training/Teaching Experience, Training Evaluation, Training Marketing and Logistics), Crafting and Developing Training Proposals, Instructional Design.
  4. Demonstrates strong Interpersonal/Relational Skills, Planning and Organization Skills, Listening Skills, Customer Mindset/Customer Relations.
  5. Above average verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Working knowledge of web-based Google Workspace (formerly G Suite, and comprises of spreadsheets, documents, and presentations).
