Core Responsibilities:

A. Strategic Leadership & Business Governance

1. Formulate and drive the strategic direction of the mining division, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and long-term business sustainability.

2. Lead the preparation, approval, and execution of the mining business plan including feasibility, capex, opex, and revenue projections.

3. Oversee compliance with all legal, regulatory, environmental, and reporting requirements across the mining life cycle.

4. Represent the mining operations in board meetings, regulatory hearings, investor relations, and stakeholder engagements.

B. End-to-End Mining Lifecycle Oversight

1. Direct exploration activities and oversee resource evaluation, validation, and reserve reporting.

2. Approve mine planning strategies for development, extraction, processing, and logistics.

3. Monitor production efficiency, quality control, cost performance, and risk mitigation.

4. Ensure efficient ore shipment, stockpile management, and supply chain coordination.

C. Regulatory, Legal, and Environmental Compliance

1. Guarantee timely acquisition and renewal of all permits and licenses from DENR, MGB, LGUs, and other governing bodies.

2. Enforce full compliance with the Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC), Safety and Health Program, and Final Mine Rehabilitation and Decommissioning Plan (FMRDP).

3. Ensure the company adheres to national and international mining laws, labor standards, and sustainability protocols.

D. Operational Excellence and Innovation

1. Promote operational efficiency through continuous improvement, automation, and the integration of mining technologies.

2. Ensure the deployment of best practices in resource utilization, equipment performance, waste management, and mine safety.
