This role is a permanent contract, 25 hours per week, working Monday to Wednesday and inclusive of Bank Holidays. Location: Unit 5 Lynden Business Park, Leadon Way, Ledbury, HR8 2SR. Pay: £13.59. Hours: 25 hours per week: Monday and Tuesday 06:00 – 15:30, Wednesday 06:00 – 12:00.

What you'll be doing

Riverford runs a wholesale business alongside its veg boxes, with a growing customer base and an annual turnover of over £1.7 million. We also sell any oversupply from our growers on the open market. As a member of our wholesale team, you will be responsible for picking fruit and vegetables and collating product orders for our Wholesale customers at Ledbury Hub. You'll be part of a small team, so we're looking for someone who is personable, enthusiastic and keen to work as part of a team to get the job done. Strong organisational skills and a good eye for detail are essential to ensure all produce going out meets our high standards and is picked correctly and on time. You will need to be friendly, confident and knowledgeable when talking to customers and offer a consistently high level of customer service.

What we're looking for
  • Ideally previous experience in a production or warehousing environment
  • Comfortable working in a cold environment
  • Ability to lift and manoeuvre crates of produce and veg boxes
  • Good communication skills and English proficiency to understand instructions and the daily requirements of the role
  • Accurate and efficient
  • Current forklift licence would be desirable but not essential
