As a Sourcing Coordinator, you'll be at the forefront of Talent Acquisition, responsible for identifying and engaging top-tier candidates to meet our organisation's hiring needs. Using your expertise in sourcing strategies and candidate outreach techniques, you'll search various channels, including job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks, to identify potential candidates who align with our client's company values and requirements.

Key Accountabilities

We will rely on you to:

Act as a Trusted Adviser

  1. Work with Recruiters to develop close working relationships that deliver a great candidate and hiring manager experience.
  2. Contribute to recruitment discussions and vacancy briefing calls with Hiring Managers, leaving the discussion with a detailed understanding of the client's business and the requirements and unique selling points of the role.
  3. Be accountable for the delivery of high quality, engaged candidate shortlists to your Hiring Managers, that provide accurate, complete information enabling informed hiring decisions.
  4. Work with Recruiters and Hiring Managers, seeking support from your manager where required, to share candidate feedback, challenges, and successes so you can adapt your recruiting strategy together.

Attract, source & engage high calibre talent.

  1. Demonstrate innovative, critical thinking and a commitment to learning the "fundamentals of sourcing" so you can support your client to hire the best talent in the market, not just those who are actively on the market.
  2. Develop an ability to leverage and interpret data to measure the success of your sourcing strategy and review, refine and adapt your approach as required.
  3. Engage with your target audience in a professional and authentic way.
  4. During the first 3 months in your role, learn how to have quality conversations with your candidates, qualifying their suitability for current or future roles.
  5. Gain insight into candidate skills, background, behaviours, career aspirations and motivations and use this to make informed selection decisions.
  6. Learn to present candidates to clients in an accurate and compelling way.
  7. Track progress, data, and performance on all applicable systems.

Value Candidate Experience

  1. Champion your candidates. Have honest, quality career discussions that assess candidate suitability for each role and bring your client's brand to life so that candidates feel excited at the prospect of joining them.
  2. Demonstrate a commitment to your candidates so that they feel valued throughout the recruitment process. Keep them updated and informed, following up with Recruiters and Hiring Managers when needed.
  3. Build lasting relationships with candidates so they become client advocates, irrespective of hiring outcomes.

Skills & Experience

What you need to have to be successful:

  1. Basic knowledge in passive sourcing techniques and technologies such as Boolean Search and LinkedIn Recruiter
  2. Experience working in a recruitment environment.
  3. Effective communication skills with the ability to negotiate with and influence others and be clear, engaging and professional in written communications.
  4. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities in a demanding environment
  5. Ability to digest, retain and utilise information to make decisions and influence others
  6. Familiarity with one or more sectors that we operate in e.g., Defence, Engineering, Technology, Pharmaceutical or Financial Services etc.
