Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Duties

  • Supervise general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closings.

  • Monitor accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely invoicing and collections.

  • Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.

  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws and financial regulations.

  • Support internal and external audits with required documentation.

Payroll Duties

  • Oversee payroll and incentive payments.

  • Manage the calculation of net pay, including deductions and withholdings.

  • Supervise the processing of overtime and holiday pay.

  • Ensure payroll and tax documents are accurate and complete.

  • Verify payroll journal entries and ensure they are correctly uploaded to the general ledger.

  • Track paid and unpaid leaves.

  • Resolve payroll issues, such as missed bank holidays or late payments.

  • Keep accurate records of cash advances and employee loans.

  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely manner.

  • Ensure compliance with payroll audits.

  • Adhere to payroll accounting and tax regulations.

Leadership & Coordination

  • Develop and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.

  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT departments to streamline operations.

  • Ensure confidentiality and integrity of financial and employee data.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • CPA certification is an advantage.

  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, payroll, and financial reporting, preferably in large-scale operations or organizations.

  • Knowledge of local and governmental payroll regulations.

  • Skilled in analyzing complex accounting transactions, preparing financial reconciliations, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring the integrity of financial data across various ledgers and systems.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Knowledge of ORACLE NetSuite is a plus.
